A flock of chicken wanders along a sunlit country path, surrounded by rolling green fields, wildflowers, a rambling river, and distant blue mountains. Warm, peaceful, and quietly whimsical. The Road Less Pecked captures the feeling of taking the scenic route and finding a little magic along the way. 

This original work was painted by hand using acrylic paint on canvas. Layers of saturated color and visible brushwork build the landscape, while simplified shapes and playful proportions give the scene its dreamlike, folk-art character. Fine brushes were used to add the smaller details from the flowers lining the path to the painting’s tiny feathered traveler making every part of the piece completely unique!
